Apprenticeship consultancy

Our apprenticeship consultancy service will highlight the opportunities to develop the skills of your workforce and manage succession planning by effectively utilising your apprenticeship levy to train existing employees or new recruits. You can use your apprenticeship levy for non-technical and technical; professional, degree, and masters level apprenticeships.

Apprenticeship consultancy can be provided at several levels, on a project basis, at departmental level, across one or multiple sites or at an organisation-wide level. It is completely flexible and based on your requirements.

All of our consultants are specialists in apprenticeship standards and the utilisation of apprenticeship levy in the science industry. We will work with you to gain a thorough understanding of your skills requirements as well as your training and development needs. We can help you understand the full range of opportunities apprenticeships offer, taking account of current vacancies, your future recruitment plans and succession planning.

Following the consultancy period we will develop an apprenticeship plan to help you prioritise your actions, develop a timetable and decide your next steps. Should you require it we can continue to provide support through our consultancy with an ongoing support option.

Ongoing support

As well as assisting you during the initial stages of creating an apprenticeship plan we can provide ongoing support. This support is completely flexible to suit your needs and can include:

  • Regular progress meetings with apprentices and their managers or mentors
  • Mapping your existing training provision and programmes to apprenticeships
  • Working with you to select an organisation that can deliver training of the required quality and supporting you to negotiate a price within the levy funding band
  • Work with you to select an End Point Assessment organisation
  • Supporting you with recruitment and apprentice employment
